These consultations involve legal advice and strategy, and you will be meeting with Attorney King, not an intake specialist or paralegal.

You will be able to submit a document or other information for quick review before the appointment.

Ideal for:

• When you are ready to have us begin working on a patent, trademark, or copyright application; forming your business; reviewing or drafting contracts; etc.
• When you want legal advice about your options for protecting your intellectual property, responding to a cease-and-desist letter, forming a business, handling a business issue, etc.
• Addressing a one-time legal question that probably doesn’t need additional work. This can include a review of a short document (5 pages or fewer total) or the equivalent portion of a larger document. Review of more material usually requires additional work beyond the consultation.

The consultation fee may be applied toward total fees for certain services, at firm discretion, if we are hired and total fees are paid within five business days of the consultation.

Scheduling this appointment does not create a full attorney-client relationship. A limited-scope relationship is created only once the appointment begins and ends upon completion of the appointment. A full attorney-client relationship is created only when the client and firm both sign a full engagement agreement.

Our discussions during this appointment will be confidential and privileged even if you do not continue as a client after the appointment.

To receive a refund if you cancel, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the appointment. If you do so, you will receive a full refund through Stripe minus their card processing fee.
